Release Issues Past and Present (RIPP)

RIPP is new protocol I (Rachel) developed that uses Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping while reciting a specific script.
​
In my many years of using energy psychology techniques in my psychotherapy practice, I have noticed the most powerful and effective change comes when people are able to identify and clear not only the issue that is bothering them, but what happened in their past that contributes to this issue in the present.

I call the past issue the root, as it is the root cause of the problem.

Once the issue is identified (examples: anxiety, hopelessness, procrastination, indecision, negative beliefs about oneself, dread, eating to quell emotional distress, etc.), we then look for the root.

The root is sometimes very obvious. Here are some examples:

The issue is a feeling of being stupid resulting in not trying to take on challenges; the root is that someone told them they were stupid — maybe over and over, or maybe one time;

The issue is a pattern of procrastination on important projects; the root is a parent or teacher saying, “You will never succeed in life because you don’t stick with things you start.”

Other times the root is not so clear. Here is an example:

The issue is performance anxiety; the root is an elementary school teacher yelling at other students in the classroom.

What I have found is that if you identify the issue and root, clear it using energy psychology, then bring in a positive state of being, the issue tends to diminish significantly or disappear altogether.

I have been using RIPP with individual clients as well as in online RIPP groups. An initial evaluation of RIPP using pre- and post- surveys of participants in a six-session group has shown promising outcomes from RIPP. Participants also have positive experiences to share:​​

“I have been able to halt the anxiety and resolve it in real time.”
“I have been feeling more ease, less intensely triggered by things, able to shake things off more easily, able to use RIPP as needed throughout the week. Feeling more lovable, feeling more distance from the family issues and family ‘root causes’ I had cleared.”
“My inflammation went down in my body. I could sleep better and soundly.”
“Feeling more present, more empowered, more lovable, more flexibility, more confidence.”
“I feel more able to speak up for myself, and more empowered in the face of conflict.”

RIPP Groups

Join this six-session online group using this newly adapted energy psychology technique, Release Issues Past and Present (RIPP), along with sound healing to identify, heal, and release what is getting in the way of reaching your goals and having a calm, grounded, hopeful and engaged life.
Groups currently meet:

Tuesday mornings 9–10:30 PT

Wednesday evenings 6:30–8 PT

Sliding scale* $30 to $180 ($5 to $30 per session)

Groups meet on Zoom, and you will need to have your camera on during the group.
This group includes a program-evaluation portion with a confidential pre- and post- survey.
